General information: Villa Tranquilla is a substantial, beautifully kept house with superb sea views from almost every room. It was converted recently into four delightful, unique holiday rental apartments. We live in one flat and the remainder are available for short / long term vacations or a winter solution from the cold of Northern Europe. The villa is in a quiet cul-de-sac 5 minutes drive from a beautiful beach and only 10 minutes drive from the old town of Estepona, founded 500 years ago.

This in turn is located between Marbella / Puerto Banus and Gibraltar. There are terrific sea, garden and pool views from both main rooms of this superb very spacious . The house is set in a half acre garden with 8 metre pool HEATED from October - April. In addition, there is table tennis & dartboard in the garage.

We aim to provide memorable spotless accommodation in a superb, quiet, exclusive setting, yet close to beaches, shops, restaurants and nightlife. The Palm Terrace has an 18ft x 16 ft master bedroom with sea, garden and pool views. There is a large bath/shower room en suite and a private terrace. The second bedroom is large enough for three and has its own shower/WC.

The living/dining room faces south and west with fabulous views. The fitted kitchen is just off this room. There is a second terrace with shading. The flat is beautifully equipped with furnishings that we bought from our home in England. It makes for a real home-from-home.

Lounge: A beautifully light south & west facing room with two large 3-seat sofas, one of which folds out into a double bed. Glass and wrought iron dining table with four matching chairs, two coffee tables, entertainment centre including a colour TV (BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Sky News) VCR, DVD player, radio/CD player.

Good selection of videocassettes, CDs, DVDs and books available to borrow free of charge. Typically Andalucian arched windows looking onto the gardens and sea beyond. The front door leads directly into this room. There is a private terrace here with sun/rain protection canopy.

Kitchen: The kitchen is off the living/dining room and comprises two refrigerators each with small freezer compartments, gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, kettle, juicer, coffee-maker, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and everything including the kitchen sink!!! The washing machine is communal and is in the garage.

Bedroom(s): Master bedroom. This was the original principal bedroom of the villa. It is a corner room about 18ft x 16ft with lots of arched windows, a queen-sized bed, two armchairs, a writing desk with chair, a wall mirror with consul and bench-chair, a central ceiling light with powerful fan, a 'map of the ancient world' linen box.

Door to lovely terrace with glorious sea, pool and garden views. Glass-topped table with two matching chairs. This gets the morning sun and is a wonderful place to have coffee / breakfast / read the papers. From the bedroom is a door to the dressing area with two double wardrobes (hanging & shelving).

Door to the bathroom. Bedroom 2 A good-sized room 14ft x 10ft with garden views. Wall mirror, consul and chair. Ceiling light/fan. Shower room opposite. Two large wardrobes nearby.

Bathroom(s): Master bathroom is 13ft x 10ft. Fully tiled with a good deep bath with hand shower, WC & bidet located behind privacy screen, twin wash basins, electric wall heater, 3ft x 3ft shower cubicle with 'dunk-head' shower. Shower room for bedroom 2. Fully tiled and comprising a shower cubicle with 'dunk-head' shower, WC, wash basin, electric wall fire.

Estepona Apartment location information
People who have perhaps stayed in Marbella before all know of Estepona, but skirt around it on the excellent by-pass without actually venturing inside. They are missing out!! It is perhaps the only truely Spanish large town left on this coast with many beautiful fountains. There are few or no fish & chip shops/souvenir shops, etc. only typical normal enterprises you may find in any inland Spanish town.

Behind the town are the Sierra Bermejas mountains and the sparkling Mediterranean in front. Estepona is in an ideal holiday location. Well known for its clean, sunny beaches, afternoon siestas and excellent choice of restaurants and bars, Estepona is a perfect place to avoid a Benidorm / Torremolinas / Fuengirola - style holiday and soak in the very Spanish atmosphere of this delightful 500 year old town. A 30 minute drive will take you to the exciting Puerto Banus.
