General information: The harbour town of Torrevieja is located to the south of Alicante,it is also located within 40 kilometers of two airports, Alicante and Murcia. Our apartment is situated in a small urbanisation called La Florida, which is a balance of year round residents and holiday homes alike.

La Florida phase two is a small urbanisation with a communal pool set inland five minutes drive from the coast. It is one of a number of communities in the area. Our holiday home occupies a ground floor corner position with six steps leading to a small terrace immediately outside the door, this has now been extended into a dining area - perfect for early morning coffee or a romantic evening meal.The apartment is in a quiet location within the complex yet within easy walking distance of Bars/restaurants/supermarket. We are very family orientated and provide at no extra cost a Travel cot,baby high seat & for peace of mind a baby gate.

Lounge: The apartment has a through lounge/diner with comfortable seating and an extendable dining table with seating for 5. For your entertainment there is Sky TV/DVD and a HiFi with CD player.There is also a sofa bed capable of sleeping 3 people.

Kitchen: It has an American style kitchen with fridge/freezer, combi microwave, toaster, coffee maker, 4 ring electric hob with extractor,a full oven and a Washing machine. You will find the kitchen very well equipped with plentiful crockery, pans and cutlery.

Bedroom(s): The apartment contains one twin bedroom and one master bedroom, which can be made up as singles, or into a kingsize, it's your choice.All rooms have ceiling fans and the bedrooms have AIR CONDITIONING. There is also a safe in the Master bedroom.

Bathroom(s): The bathroom is fully equipped with over bath shower and WC and has recently undergone a facelift.The sink has an additional lit vanity unit and there are also ample towel rails. All bed linen and bathroom towels (not to be removed from the apartment)are provided.

Torrevieja Apartment location information

The Torrevieja region is rated by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest places to live in the world. Partly because of the sunshine, but also because of the two huge natural salt lakes within 2 kilometers of the town centre. These salt lakes draw moisture from the air resulting in an extremely low humidity level. It compares favourably with the Costa's to the South - del Sol, which has a higher rainfall, and Calida which can be windy.

The climate is of course beneficial permitting an outdoor life for much of the year. The benefits to sufferers of arthritis, rheumatism, allergies and skin complaints have been well documented over the years.

Most of Torrevieja's beaches have been awarded the coveted blue flag for cleanliness and freedom from pollution. Other beaches, to the north and to the south of the town are similarly approved. So if swimming in the clear blue Mediterranean is your cup of tea, you won't find a better and safer place to do it.
