The gulf coast of Florida is very different from the better known Atlantic coast; there are hundreds of miles of wide pure white sand beaches with azure blue seas that are usually totally wave free. It is common to spot fish and dolphins while swimming and huge white herons and pelicans are plentiful.
Starting in the North there are the ‘Florida panhandle’ resorts such as Destin, Fort Walton and Pensacola Beach these are all relatively quiet and laid back towns with arguably some of the best beach areas in the sunshine state.

A visit to California is bound to be most exciting and besides the excellent weather there is a lot for the tourist to see and do. Among the many tourist attractions here in California makes sure to check out the Great Statues of Auburn that is colossi made from concrete that has been built by a dentist from Auburn known as Ken Fox.
There is also the Old Faithful Geyser of California which attracts many tourists. A slightly more unusual place to visit in California is Toad Hollow that is tunnel for toad traffic built in Davis, California to prevent toads from being squashed whilst crossing the busy highway.
Orlando is situated in the Orange county of Florida and it is the sixth largest city in the state of Florida. Everyone will surely have heard of this wonderful tourist attraction that finds people coming from near and far to savor the Walt Disney World Resort located in Lake Buena Vista and to also take in its many other attractions.
There are many who will also find the SeaWorld as well as the Universal Orlando Resort very appealing – so much so, that Orlando accounts for approximately fifty-two million tourists each year. In terms of holiday villas it ranks very high in the country, being a very busy city that also hosts many conventions as well as conferences as well.

Davenport is a wonderful place where children fed on Mickey and Minnie will find much to enjoy. Here, you will find that being outside the Disney zone though within driving distance affords you a chance to sample the fun as well as excitement of everything Disney without having any large crowds to contend with.
From Davenport, it is only a ten-mile drive to Walt Disney World though you would not imagine that given the peace and tranquility of this wonderful family vacation destination. It is not like Kissimmee or Orlando that has large attendant crowds at every attraction and also at restaurants.

Just south of Orlando, Florida, lies Kissimmee that is supposed to be the main entrance to the fun as well as excitement provided by the Walt Disney World. It is quite clear that most people that visit Kissimmee do so to enjoy the four theme parks at Disney.
