Panagasan is a region in the Philippine islands it is located on the main island of Luzon approximately 170kms north of the capital and main international airport in Manila. There are 4 main cities in the region Alaminos, Urdaneta, Dagupan and San Carlos as well as numerous small towns and sea side resorts lying on the South China Sea or the Gulf of Lingayen.
The area is mostly known for its pure snow white beaches and stunning clear sea’s, the coastline is horseshoe shaped so is extremely long, the most famous attraction is the 100 islands national park which is actually 123 amazing Robinson Crusoe desert islands located just off Alaminos City, these are small islands with lush tropical vegetation just waiting to be explored.

Pangasinan, meaning ‘land of salt’, is one of the provinces in Philippines. It is situated on the west central area of the Luzon Island along the Lingayen Gulf. For wildlife lovers and tourists, it is also an ideal tourist getaway in the Southeast Asia. Statistics show that yearly hundreds of thousands of tourists flock into the island for their summer vacations.
If there is any place in Pangasinan that you cannot afford to miss, it is the world famous Hundred Islands National Park, located off the coast of Alaminos City, in the Lingayen Gulf. The national park is made up of 123 islands, and is the only one such in the whole world. The water around the park also offers snorkeling and kayaking opportunities. The Manleluag spring national park in Mangatarem is another forest park in the province that is worth spending some time in.
