New Zealand is a sub-tropical island that is located near Australia in the southern part of the Pacific Ocean. There is certainly a lot for people to see and do in New Zealand and part of the reason why the island itself is so attractive to tourists is that the diversity of what you can see and do in New Zealand is absolutely fantastic.

If you’ve seen the Lord of the Rings Movie and you understand how beautiful some of that scenery was, what you are also going to be floored by is the fact that almost all of the scenery in Lord of the Rings was inspired by sights that you can see right now if you just go to New Zealand.
If you are coming to New Zealand, you most probably would either land at Auckland or Christchurch. Of course, you would choose Auckland if you intend on visiting New Zealand’s North Island, which offers unparalleled as well as unique scenic splendor with a lot of adventurous opportunities also beckoning you.

In the North Island the weather is especially warm and it has a landscape that has everything from sandy beaches to plenty of farmlands as well as some active volcanoes as well. It is well known for its one of a kind volcanic plateau that lies in the middle of the island, which itself comprises over a hundred thousand miles with Auckland, being one of New Zealand’s main city. There is also the Rotorua which is home to the Maori culture.
