The main towns situated in Wiltshire are Salisbury and Swindon though there is much to see and do in this part of England because there is everything from abbeys, cathedrals, farms, gardens, golf courses, historic houses, historic monuments, museums, racecourses, safari parks and shopping centers to visit.
To begin with, you could check out Lacock Abbey which has been around since 1232 or you can visit the famous Salisbury Cathedral which is an imposing and hugely impressive building in the Gothic style that also goes way back to the year 1220.

Cornwall is a place in England that people can visit all the time and indeed it is a place that a number of different tourists visit specifically because of the beauty of the place itself. Cornwall happens to be a county that is located in south-west England and it also hosts the southernmost point in England as well.
It is ranked 12th in the England part of the United Kingdom in terms of total land area amongst regional units and then it is also ranked 40th in terms of population, making the actual density within the county itself not very large.

England is an excellent place for people to visit as part of their holiday. With all of the rich cultural history combined with the modern tourist attractions that are available, it seems very obvious that people that are interested in having a very good time on their holiday should definitely consider England.
One of the more interesting counties within England is Devon and the interesting thing about Devon by and large is that it is one of the oldest areas of the actual country. It was one of the first areas settled after the last major ice age and places like Dartmoor really a number of interesting aspects to them when it comes to rich historical sites that people can visit.

It’s important that we realise how our holidays are having a negative effect on the environment, so rather than jetting off abroad, why you don’t think about taking your family on a cottage holiday at home in England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland.
Cottage holidays are primarily located in scenic locations across the United Kingdom. I took my brothers on a cottage holiday a few years ago to the Lake District, and it was an excellent base for our walking trips, the holiday cottage was located near village pubs, and wow, spectacular scenery.

Cornwall, known as England’s Riveria and once was one of the oldest Celtic settlements in the Europe and may be owing to its bleak high moors and poor soil, which was never conducive to agriculture, Cornwall never ever captured the attention of landlords or invaders. As a result, Cornwall still has a definite Cornish feel, something you can experience in its towns, culture, and people.
If you love wilderness, you will definitely like its coastal scenery of Cornwall’s shores – of crashing waves and rugged cliffs. Take the Cornish coastal path from Bude in the north to Plymouth in the south, and on the way you’ll pass past all of Cornwall’s rich past, the Tintagel and Arthur, the ruins of mines round St Agnes and St Just, Land’s End, St Ives and its artists, the Minack Theatre.
